I've mentioned our "sewing fairy godmother" on this blog a few times. She's a very special lady who brightened up a very dark time in our lives by making beautiful clothes for my kids while my husband was recovering from his stroke. I've finally written our story, and today I am sharing it on the Oliver+S blog. Click over to have a read!

Fairy Godmother Fairy Tale
It gave me absolute delight to dress my girls for Pascha services this year. They wore silk Oliver+S Fairy Tale dresses sewn by our fairy godmother. The dresses are sewn of silk dupioni with the softest cotton lining. They are exquisite.
Natasha's is a soft gold with cream lining.
Zoia's is an ice blue with the lightest blue lining. I know I keep talking about the lining but seriously, this lining is no afterthought - it is so soft and adds to the overall luxury of the dresses.
Every detail of these dresses was meticulously executed.
And the girls adore them. They got many, many compliments at church. The bow in back has particular wow factor.
The dresses came with beautiful shrugs made in velvet and lined in coordinating silk charmeuse. They wore the shrugs over the dresses to church for Easter but we did not manage to get any decent photos of them. Thank you, Fairy Godmother!!
